GRADUATE STUDENT
Vanessa Lozano Wun is a fourth-year graduate student in the Clinical Science and Psychopathology Research program at the University of Minnesota. She holds a B.A. in Neurobiology from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Vanessa’s early research examined altruistic and prosocial behavior using animal models. Her current work focuses on adolescent brain and behavioral development, particularly the development of executive functioning and reward sensitivity. She is especially interested in sex differences in neurodevelopment, links to risk-taking behaviors, and the use of advanced longitudinal modeling approaches. Outside of research, Vanessa enjoys hiking, dancing, and experimenting in the kitchen.
