Erin Schiemann is a 4th year undergraduate student majoring in Biology, Society, and Environment and Psychology. Erin plans on going to graduate school to become a physician’s assistant and is currently working directly with patients as a nursing assistant at MHealth Fairview Hospital. She is interested in psychiatry and clinical psychology specialities, as well as understanding the effects of substance abuse on cognitive functioning. Her honors thesis will focus on the association between depression and nicotine use during adolescent development. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her cat, Wallace, practicing guitar, and exercising.
